Girls Lacrosse
Fire Girls Lacrosse consistently ranks as one of the top 10 girls high school lacrosse programs in Minnesota.
Girls play an independent season schedule and compete in the very tough Section 2 in MSHSL‘s single class girls lacrosse structure. This spring season sport plays home games on the Holy Family campus and regularly sees players receive All-Section and All-State recognition.
Many alumni continue to play lacrosse in college. The graduating class of 2017 had three Division 1 college scholarship recipients including Ms. Lacrosse Minnesota Megan Menzuber. Megan will play for Marquette University in Milwaukee while teammates Izzy Hanson and Betsy Gregg will play at Mount Olive University and Rockhurst University, respectively.
The 2019 Female Athlete of the Year is lacrosse player Leigh Steiner. Leigh is playing D1 Lacrosse at Marquette University. Along side Leigh, Bella Dervin is playing lacrosse at Marquette University.
Middle school athletes (7th and 8th grades) from local Catholic feeder schools may be eligible to play with the program.
