Tysk Named Interim Girls Lacrosse Coach

Coach Tysk brings with her an impressive blend of high-level playing experience, proven coaching leadership, and professional expertise. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, graduating with Dean’s List honors. Her background in athletics communications and event leadership enhances her ability to connect with student-athletes, families, and the broader school community.

A standout player at Eden Prairie High School, Coach Tysk competed as an attack on one of the most successful girls lacrosse programs in Minnesota high school history. She played at the varsity level beginning in 8th grade, helping lead Eden Prairie to state championships in 2016 and 2017, followed by runner-up finishes in 2018 and 2019. She was selected as a team captain in 2020, a season unfortunately lost due to the pandemic. 

In addition to her high school success, Soleil played club lacrosse for Minnesota Elite (now M&D Minnesota) for many years, competing at an elite regional and national level. She comes highly recommended by some of the most experienced and successful high school girls lacrosse coaches in Minnesota, a testament to her skill and leadership on and off the field.

Coach Tysk has also demonstrated excellence in coaching. She served as Assistant Varsity Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach for Verona Area Girls Lacrosse, managing JV practices and game strategy while assisting the varsity team in a semifinal run at the Wisconsin Lacrosse State Tournament. Earlier in her career, she served as Co-Head Youth Coach with the Eden Prairie Lacrosse Association for multiple seasons, developing players across age groups and fostering a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.
