Holy Family Celebrates Spring Student-Athlete Commitments

Holy Family Catholic High School proudly celebrates its 2026 class of college-bound student-athletes as they take the next step in their academic and athletic journeys.

What is this? A celebration of Holy Family’s Spring 2026 college athletic signings.

Who is signing? Holy Family senior student-athletes across multiple sports.

Where are they going? Colleges and universities across the country.

Why it matters: These commitments reflect the strength of Holy Family athletics, academics, and student leadership.

This spring signing group adds to an already impressive year for Fire athletics, following the student-athletes who signed this past fall. Representing golf, basketball, hockey, football, baseball, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, and track and field, these seniors have built a legacy through dedication, leadership, academic achievement, and success in competition.

From conference championships and state appearances to academic honors and leadership roles, Holy Family’s 2026 college-bound student-athletes reflect the commitment, character, and excellence of the Fire community.

Holy Family senior Ryder Carlson signs to play college golf at Mercyhurst University with family and coaches behind him.

Ryder Carlson, Mercyhurst University Golf

Ryder Carlson will attend Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, to play golf. Ryder has lettered in golf all four years at Holy Family. He has been recognized as an All-Conference golfer in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and as an All-State golfer in 2025. Ryder served as a team captain and helped lead the boys golf team to three section championships and a state championship in 2024. He has been on the President’s List for seven consecutive semesters and is currently undecided on his course of study.

Holy Family senior Andrew Coleman signs to play college basketball at Gustavus Adolphus College with his family.

Andrew Coleman, Gustavus Adolphus College Basketball

Andrew Coleman will attend Gustavus Adolphus College, where he will play basketball for the Golden Gusties. Andrew lettered in basketball all four years at Holy Family and earned Wright County Conference All-Conference recognition during his junior and senior seasons. He also served as a Fire team captain this past winter. Andrew helped guide the program to three conference championships, a section championship, and a third-place state finish in 2023. He has earned President’s List recognition all four years and plans to study financial economics.

Holy Family senior Addy Cowan signs to play college hockey at Dartmouth College with her family.

Addy Cowan, Dartmouth College Hockey

Addy Cowan will attend Dartmouth College, where she will play hockey for the Big Green. Addy earned four varsity letters in hockey and was named All-Conference in the Wright County Conference during her junior and senior seasons. She helped the Fire secure four conference championships, two section championships, and two third-place state finishes in 2025 and 2026. Addy will graduate with an honors cord and plans to study business marketing.

Holy Family senior Lillian DeFauw signs to play college hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with her family.

Lillian DeFauw, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Hockey

Lillian DeFauw is headed to Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to play hockey for the Pointers at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Lillian earned 11 varsity letters as a multi-sport athlete, including three in volleyball, four in hockey, and four in lacrosse. She set a single-season assist record in volleyball and recorded more than 1,000 assists during her high school career. She also helped Holy Family hockey win multiple conference championships, two section championships, and two third-place state finishes. Lillian is a consistent President’s List student and plans to study pre-veterinary medicine.

Holy Family senior Noah Galvin signs to continue his football and baseball career at St. Olaf College with his family.

Noah Galvin, St. Olaf College Football and Baseball

Noah Galvin will attend St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he will continue his multi-sport career in football and baseball for the Oles. During his time at Holy Family, Noah earned seven varsity letters, including three in football, two in hockey, and three in baseball. He earned All-District Honorable Mention recognition in football as a sophomore and junior, then was named All-District Most Valuable Player and Running Back as a senior. Noah helped the Fire football team earn a section runner-up finish and back-to-back section championships. He also earned All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition in baseball and plans to study business accounting.

Holy Family senior Lexyn Grof signs to play college basketball at Saint John's University.

Lexyn Grof, Saint John’s University Basketball

Lexyn Grof is headed to Collegeville, Minnesota, to play basketball for the Saint John’s Johnnies. Lexyn will finish his high school athletic career with six varsity letters, three in basketball and three in golf. He came to Holy Family during his senior season and helped the Fire basketball team win a Wright County Conference championship and earn a top-five state ranking. Lexyn was awarded All-Conference recognition and scored more than 1,000 points during his high school career. He is an honor roll student and plans to study business.

Holy Family senior Everett Lemke signs to play college baseball at Gustavus Adolphus College with his family.

Everett Lemke, Gustavus Adolphus College Baseball

Everett Lemke will head to St. Peter, Minnesota, to play baseball for the Golden Gusties of Gustavus Adolphus College. Everett is a two-year letterman for the Fire baseball team and played a key role in the program’s section runner-up finish during his junior season. He has been recognized as a President’s List student and plans to study business management and exercise physiology.

Holy Family senior Breck Neubauer signs to compete in football and track and field at Saint John's University with his family.

Breck Neubauer, Saint John’s University Football and Track and Field

Breck Neubauer will continue his athletic career in football and track and field at Saint John’s University in Collegeville. During his time at Holy Family, Breck will earn six varsity letters, including three in football and three in track and field. He earned All-District Defensive Back honors as a junior and senior while helping lead the Fire to back-to-back section championships in 2024 and 2025. In track and field, he has been recognized as a Wright County Conference All-Conference and All-State athlete in both 2024 and 2025. He is a section champion, state qualifier, and school record holder in the 200-meter dash and 4x100-meter relay. Breck is a three-time Academic All-State award winner, a President’s List student, and a member of the National Honor Society. He plans to study pre-med.

Holy Family senior Bennet Pierce signs to play college lacrosse at Clarke University with his family.

Bennet Pierce, Clarke University Lacrosse

Bennet Pierce is traveling to Dubuque, Iowa, to play lacrosse for Clarke University. During his time at Holy Family, Bennet will have earned six varsity letters, including three in football and three in lacrosse. He has been recognized as an All-District Honorable Mention football player and is off to a strong start in his senior lacrosse season. Bennet helped the Fire football team earn two section championships and state quarterfinal appearances. He also played a pivotal role during the 2025 lacrosse season, helping the team secure its first section playoff victory in seven years. Bennet is a President’s List student and plans to study business.

Holy Family senior Eli Sorkin signs to play college volleyball at Viterbo University with his family.

Eli Sorkin, Viterbo University Volleyball

Eli Sorkin will travel to La Crosse, Wisconsin, to play volleyball for the V-Hawks at Viterbo University. Eli is a three-year letterman in volleyball and has been an active member of many clubs and activities during his time at Holy Family. He has played a vital role in the success of each volleyball team he has been part of. Eli is a President’s List honor roll student and plans to study business.

Holy Family senior Ryan Spalding signs to play college soccer at Assumption College with his family.

Ryan Spalding, Assumption College Soccer

Ryan Spalding will travel to the East Coast to play soccer for the Greyhounds of Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. During his time at Holy Family, Ryan participated in soccer, hockey, track and field, and lacrosse, earning six varsity letters. On the soccer field, he helped lead the Fire to a conference championship in 2025 and a section championship with a state tournament appearance in 2023. Ryan earned Wright County Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition as a junior, then All-Conference Goaltender honors and All-State recognition as a senior. He will graduate with an honors cord, is a member of the National Honor Society, and is a College Board National Recognition recipient. He plans to study finance.
