Five Athletes are Bound for the State Track & Field Meet
Holy Family Catholic High School will be well represented at the upcoming State Track & Field Meet, with six student-athletes qualifying across multiple events after strong performances at the Section 6AA Championships.
Senior Quinn Paulsen punched her ticket to state with a powerful 117’07” throw in the discus, earning her a second-place finish and her first trip to the state meet.
On the boys’ side, Breck Neubauer turned in a standout day, qualifying in both the 100M and 200M dashes as the section runner-up. Neubauer also helped propel the Boys 4x100M Relay team to a Section 6AA title alongside teammates Jake Orina, Luke Westrum, and Max Sampson. Their combined speed and precise handoffs secured a first-place finish and a coveted spot in the state lineup.
Additionally, Luke Tyson, who soared to a 6’1” jump in the high jump, claimed the section championship.
These athletes will now take their talents to the highest level of competition in Minnesota high school track & field, representing Holy Family at the MSHSL Class AA State Track and Field Meet for girls and boys.
