Seven Athletes Sign with National Letters of Intent

Holy Family Catholic High School celebrates the achievements of seven student-athletes during the Spring 2025 National Letter of Intent Signing Day.

Spring 2025 National Letter of Intent Signees

Congratulations to seven Holy Family athletes who signed their National Letter of Intent to play college athletics.

 

Zac Beddor 

Oklahoma Christian University - Golf

Intended Major: Business - Finance and Sports Management

Career Highlights: Zac has received five varsity letters since joining the Holy Family golf team in 8th grade. Zac and his team have been conference champions for the last four years and section champions for the last three. He has numerous individual golf accomplishments and was a part of the team making three state appearances, with their most significant accomplishment being State Champions in 2024. He has been on the honor roll at Holy Family and plans on studying business with a focus on finance & sports management while playing for the Oklahoma Christian Eagles.

Most Memorable Holy Family Moment: Winning the State Championship in boys golf last year and jumping into the pond with the team.

 

Nick Briden

St. Mary's University of Minnesota - Baseball

Intended Major: Undecided

Career Highlights: During his time at Holy Family, Nick has received five letter awards, three in baseball and two in hockey. He helped his Holy Family baseball team to two consecutive conference championships in 2023 and 2024, capped off with a section championship and state appearance in 2023. Nick has been recognized as an honor roll student at Holy Family and is undecided on what he will study at St. Mary’s

Most Memorable Holy Family Moment: First varsity pitching start against Rockford.

 

Tanner Davis

Saint John's University - Football

Intended Major: Finance

Career Highlights: Tanner is a three-sport athlete and has lettered three years in football and hockey, while also being a part of the golf team. Tanner was a key player in the football team's success as section runner-up in 2023 and a state tournament appearance in 2024. He was the District Running Back of the Year and was named All-District in the last two years. Tanner has also been on the honor roll during his time at Holy Family and plans to study finance at Saint John’s.

Most Memorable Holy Family Moment: Beating North in the section final senior year and going to Starbucks after summer workouts.

 

Griffin Murray

Saint John's University - Football

Intended Major: Accounting & Finance

Career Highlights: Griffin had a very impressive athletic career for the Fire as a three-sport athlete. He lettered two years in football, two years in basketball, and three years in baseball. Griffin started for the Fire football team in two section championship games, one of which led to a section championship and a state tournament appearance in his senior season. He was recognized as All-District football in 2023 and 2024 and awarded All-District MVP in 2024. He holds the single-season and career interception record for Holy Family. Griffin also participated in a state baseball tournament in his sophomore year and on conference championship teams in baseball and basketball. Griffin also received an academic letter and will study accounting and finance.

Most Memorable Holy Family Moment: Hotel stay for the state baseball tournament and winning the section football championship at home against North.

 

Emma Richter

Assumption University - Dance

Intended Major: Sports Management

Career Highlights: Emma has lettered in dance for three years and has been an important contributor to one of the state’s best dance programs. Emma capped off her Holy Family career with an epic senior season, helping lead both the kick and jazz teams to Wright County Conference Championships—the first time in school history that both titles were won in the same season. The Fire qualified for the state meet and finished with their highest Class AA placement ever, finishing in 4th place in jazz and high kick. Emma was awarded an academic certificate from Holy Family and has been recognized for her many hours of service. While dancing for the Greyhounds, Emma will focus her studies on sports management.

Most Memorable Holy Family Moment: Winning the conference championship on our home floor and dancing at the Target Center.

 

Will Sandefur

Gustavus Adolphus College - Baseball

Intended Major: Undecided

Career Highlights: At Holy Family, Will participated in baseball, soccer, Nordic skiing, and basketball, earning three varsity letters in baseball. He was a key contributor to the conference champion baseball teams in 2023 and 2024, and the 2023 section championship team that advanced to the state tournament. Academically, Will has consistently earned a place on the President’s List. He is currently undecided on his field of study at Gustavus.

Most Memorable Holy Family Moment: Going to the State Baseball Tournament in my sophomore year.

 

Connor Schreier

Saint John's University - Football

Intended Major: Business & Marketing

A multi-sport athlete at Holy Family, Connor earned varsity letters in football (2), baseball, and lacrosse. He served as a football captain during his senior season, helping lead the team to its most successful season in over fifteen years, capped by a section championship and a state tournament appearance. Connor earned All-District Honorable Mention honors and maintained a spot on the Holy Family honor roll. At Saint John’s, he plans to study business and marketing.

Most Memorable Holy Family Moment: Beating North in the section championship after losing to them the year before, along with team Starbucks trips after summer workouts.
