Overman Named New Boys Lacrosse Coach

Holy Family Catholic High School is excited to welcome Eric Overman as the new FIRE Boys Lacrosse Head Coach. Matt Alrich will join him as the Associate Head Coach.

Eric Overman, a veteran of the lacrosse world with over 17 years of coaching experience at the high school level and a strong background in youth lacrosse, will lead our program. Eric's impressive resume includes over 100 career wins at the Academy of Holy Angels and a significant role with the C3 Youth Lacrosse Association, where he also serves as Vice President of the boys program. Additionally, Eric has been an assistant coach for Team Minnesota Club Lacrosse.

"I am thrilled to bring my passion for lacrosse to Holy Family and work towards building a strong, competitive program," said Overman. "My goal is to drive interest in lacrosse, support the growth of our student-athletes, and build a winning legacy for Holy Family Boys Lacrosse."

Matt Alrich, who will serve as Associate Head Coach, brings a wealth of experience from his time playing Division I lacrosse at the University of Delaware and his professional career in Major League Lacrosse and the National Lacrosse League. Alrich's notable achievements include representing Team USA in the world indoor lacrosse championships.

Rory Oster, Holy Family’s Activities Director, expressed his enthusiasm about the new hires: “We are incredibly excited to have Eric and Matt join our program. Their combined experience and dedication to the sport will be a tremendous asset. We look forward to seeing their positive impact on our athletes and the broader Holy Family community.”

Both Overman and Alrich are eager to get started and are committed to developing a strong foundation for the Holy Family boys lacrosse program. They will meet with players and parents when the school year is underway.
