HFDT Jazz Finishes in Top 6 at State

MSHLS STATE DANCE TOURNAMENT RESULTS UPDATE: HFDT Jazz qualified in the Top 6 after the preliminary round and went on to finish fifth in the Class AA.

The Fire finished third in jazz during the Section 3AA Meet at Bloomington Jefferson High School on Saturday, February 10.

The jazz team will perform at Prelims on Friday. Prelims begin at approximately 2:00 p.m. Finalists are announced at 4:15 p.m. Finals begin at 7:15 p.m. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance or early arrival as long lines may delay making it to your seat on time. 

Holy Family's dance program won Holy Family's first state title in 2004. Since then, the program has missed only a handful of state appearances and is currently on a five-year streak of competing at the MSHLS State Dance Tournament.

HFDT Kick also competed on Saturday and had an incredible performance. They finished in fourth place—the top three advance to the state tournament. They should be very proud of themselves. Our section is incredibly competitive!
