Holy Family Golf at State
Holy Family Golf made its presence known at the MSHSL State Golf Tournament in mid-June.
UPDATE: Holy Family Boys Golf placed second in the MSHSL Class AA Boys Golf State Tournament with a final team score of 602, finishing just four strokes from first place. In the individual tournament, junior PJ Herron and freshman Ryder Carlson recorded impressive finishes in the top 10, at fifth and tenth place, respectively. The remaining four Fire golfers placed in the top 30 out of 88 competitors. Additionally, Holy Family Girls Golfers Paige Kroll and Sophia Terris competed in the MSHSL Class AA Girls Golf Individual State Tournament, placing 35 and 58, respectively, out of 88 competitors.
On June 6, Holy Family Boys Golf clinched an impressive first-place finish in the Section 2AA championship and earned their well-deserved spot in the state tournament. With the competition heating up, they are poised to take on the state's best high school golf teams in the MSHSL Class AA Boys Golf State Tournament at the Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Course on June 13-14.
Holy Family Girls Golf missed the section second-day cut by just seven strokes. However, two individual players, sophomores Sophia Terris and Paige Kroll, qualified for the second day. They finished the Section 2AA in fourth and seventh place, respectively, and punched their tickets to the MSHSL Class AA Girls Golf State Tournament at the Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Course on June 13-14.
