Coach Gorrilla has 11 years of girls basketball coaching experience, including leadership roles in girls basketball programs at Edina High School, Minnetonka High School, and Providence Academy, as well as boys basketball at DeLaSalle High School. Throughout his career, he has helped build and sustain some of the top basketball programs in Minnesota, contributing to four state championship teams and developing athletes from elementary through collegiate levels.

Most recently at Edina High School, Coach Gorrilla helped lead the program to the highest scoring season in school history while serving as Offensive Coordinator and Girls JV Head Coach/Varsity Assistant. He has established himself as one of the state’s rising basketball minds through his commitment to skill development, culture building, strength and conditioning, and competitive excellence.

“I’m devoted to helping others become who they strive to be — on and off the court — through discipline, resilience, selflessness, and work ethic,” said Gorrilla. “I believe in creating an environment that’s both challenging and joy-filled, where players can grow through skill development, game understanding, and creative team problem-solving — building confidence, independence, and adaptability along the way.”
