HFCHS Chaplain, Father Attobrah!

Father Ben Attobrah officially assumes his role as full-time Chaplain at Holy Family Catholic High School.

Father Attobrah brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his ministry. After his ordination in 2015, he served as the assistant rector at Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto and Rectorate in Kpando Agbenoxoe, located in the Volta Region of Ghana, Africa. For the past six years, he has served as a school chaplain at Our Lady of Grace Senior High School—a ministry of Saint Joseph Parish in Mamponteng, Ghana, and the sister parish of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina, MN. 

In addition to a Bachelor of Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Urban University in Rome, Father Attobrah holds a Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling. He is also the author of six spiritual and theological books, showcasing his dedication to furthering his knowledge and sharing his insights with others.

We are excited to have Father Attobrah join our community. His passion for ministry, diverse experiences, and educational background will greatly benefit our students, staff, and families. While serving at Holy Family Catholic High School, he will be living with the Saints Joachim and Anne Parish priests in Shakopee, where he will serve on weekends.

We look forward to the positive impact Father Ben will make on the spiritual life of our school community. During our conversation about the position, he expressed immense joy in being assigned to our school, and he looks forward to meeting our families soon.
