Hall of Fame - Holy Family Catholic High School

The Holy Family Booster Club in partnership with Holy Family Catholic High School (HFCHS) is proud to announce the establishment of the Holy Family Hall of Fame, honoring the outstanding achievements and lasting contributions of individuals and teams that have left an indelible mark on the school’s rich history of excellence. With a legacy of 25 years, this initiative celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of student-athletes, coaches, and teams who exemplify the spirit, values, and dedication of the Holy Family community.

The Hall of Fame will recognize nominees across three distinguished categories: Student-Athlete, Coach, and Team Award. Each inductee will represent the very best of Holy Family’s commitment to excellence in athletics or activities, character, and service.

Process

Membership
A. Must have graduated at least 10 years prior to induction.
B. If not a graduate, prior to induction, the nominee must have been associated with HFCHS for at least 10 years.

Nomination
A. Open to the Holy Family community, both alumni and current families.
B. Due by March 1, 2025.
C. All nominations are made by completing the online nomination form.

Ratification
A. After the community recommends a nominee for the induction, the final decision rests with the committee.
B. The President of Boosters and Athletic Director contacts nominee for induction.

Recognition and Induction into the Hall of Fame

More information will follow later this spring regarding recognition and induction plans.

Student-Athlete

A former Holy Family Catholic High School (“HFCHS”) student-athlete who performed with excellence athletically, lettered in a Varsity Sport, and was academically eligible for substantially his/her entire HFCHS career
Must be an HFCHS graduate and out of high school for at least ten (10) years unless the HFCHS Hall of Fame Committee unanimously reduces this time restriction, and for extraordinary circumstances only
Must be, or have been, a credit to his/her family, country, and HFCHS. While academic achievement is a criterion, it is not a determining factor, serving to confirm the Student-Athlete’s commitment to achievement in all facets of his/her student-athlete career
May be either living or deceased

Coach

Must have been a coach who has distinguished himself/herself by demonstrating exceptional leadership, and athletic achievement during his/her employment at HFCHS as well as outstanding character during and after his/her employment at HFCHS.
Must have been associated with HFCHS for at least 10 years
Athletic achievement includes, but is not limited to, a consistent record of winning seasons, leading multiple teams to the state tournament, winning at least one state championship, or being foundational for the advancement of the program and the school
The inductee may be either living or deceased but may not be actively coaching at HFCHS. This shall not preclude a coach from being inducted into the HFCHS hall of fame if he/she is instead being inducted as a student-athlete

Team

Nominations for the 2025 Hall of Fame were accepted until March 1, 2025. Recipients will be announced in spring of 2025 and awarded at the Homecoming halftime in the fall 2025.
