Enrollment Steps

A visit to campus should be a fun experience for students and parents. We personalize visits to ensure you see and explore our building, meet our students, and understand Holy Family Catholic High School.

Join us for a small group Fire Family Visit, a personal tour, or a shadow day visit.  A visit to campus can occur at any time in the enrollment process.

New Family:  Using the log-in information provided to you by our admissions team, log in to your account. (If you don’t have an account, fill out the inquiry form in Step 1, and our admissions team will set you up with one.)

Current Family: Log into your Blackbaud account and select your incoming student from the “Children” dropdown.

Located on your Admissions Progress Checklist is a link to complete an application for admission.

Incoming ninth-grade applicants who meet the Early Application Deadline of December 20 will have their $200 application fees waived. All other students will incur a $200 application fee. While the Early Application Deadline is a financial benefit to the family, it is not a required deadline for enrollment. Students may continue to apply for enrollment throughout the school year and summer months.

The materials needed to complete your application submission (transcripts, admissions test, etc.) are detailed on your applicant checklist.

In addition to need-based variable tuition rate granted through our financial aid program, Holy Family Catholic High School is proud to offer need-based scholarships. When families complete their variable tuition application, they will also be reviewed for qualification for our scholarship program.

We strongly encourage families to apply for variable tuition rates and scholarships as soon as possible.

Your tuition agreement link is can be found on your Blackbaud Admissions Progress checklist. Families are asked to accept their tuition agreement within 30 days. 

Course registration for incoming ninth-grade students takes place in February. An informational program begins at 6:00 PM, and staff will be available following that program to assist with questions or guidance. During these evenings, placement test scores will be distributed to all incoming ninth-grade students, who will then register for their desired classes. Ninth-grade students are required to submit a $300 class registration fee. Registration is not considered complete until a tuition contract is on file for the student. Students may continue to register for classes after the registration evening, but it is recommended that students complete their registration as close to that date as possible.

Transfer students will meet with our Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs to discuss credit transfer and course registration.

A wait list is determined by completion of application paperwork and as spots become available, students automatically move up the list.  A wait pool is a pool of applicants who are prioritized by criteria determined by Holy Family.  Those factors are included in the FAQ’s.

1. The family’s commitment to a four-year education at Holy Family.
2. The family has another student currently enrolled at Holy Family.
3. The family has had prior students (now alumni) who attended Holy Family.
4. The family has another student currently enrolled at a local Catholic elementary school.

In the event that no Wait Pool applications meet these criteria, Holy Family reserves the right to offer admission to the Wait Pool applicants it feels will best complement the class/grade to which they are seeking admission.  Holy Family will not consider race, gender, religious affiliation, or financial need as factors in its Wait Pool discernment and admission process.

Holy Family will not share specific numbers about the wait pool, but will be in communication with families in the wait pool to determine their continued interest in enrolling in Holy Family, should openings occur.
