Fire Family Visits are small group, on-campus information sessions with personalized tours led by our student ambassadors. This is a great opportunity for families in middle school to learn more about Holy Family.

Fire Family Visits will begin in the fall. Families are invited to contact our admissions team to schedule private family tours during the spring and summer months.

An admissions team member will reach out to you to answer any questions you may have, help you plan your visit to campus, and share information on the next steps in the enrollment process, including your log-in information.

Incoming ninth grade students who submit an Application for Admission by December 20 will have their $200 application fee waived. Early application is required for scholarship and tuition assistance consideration.

Requests for a variable tuition rate through our financial aid program should be made to HFCHS using TADS online service by this date. After completing an application for admission, the link for TADS will be available on your checklist. The TADS application must be completed and returned directly to the service with the appropriate documentation and application fee. We recommend families apply as early as possible for a variable tuition rate.

This at-home, online test is required for all incoming ninth-grade students. This is not an acceptance test; it is a tool to help you and your child choose the best academic path. You will receive an email with test instructions, and results will be back in time for course registration night.

Advice will be offered regarding class selection, getting involved at HF, and students will register for their ninth-grade classes. The non-refundable registration fee is $300 and is applied as a credit for your first tuition payment. Incoming ninth-grade students registering on this night will be guaranteed their choices of elective classes. Students may continue to register for classes throughout the school year and summer months; however, elective options may fill and be unavailable. 

Tuition assistance is awarded to families qualifying for tuition assistance. Families will be mailed notification letters with one copy to be returned to the school as an addendum to the tuition contract and one copy to retain for their own personal records. Families applying after the January priority deadline will be contacted regarding financial aid awards as soon as possible, but can expect that it may be at a date later than the priority deadline recipients.

Math placement testing date for incoming ninth grade students for the following school year who wish to register for math beyond Algebra 1 and are currently not enrolled in a partner school participating in our course for high school credit.

Let's bring the kids together again this summer for the Fire29 Summerpalooza on Wednesday, July 30, from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. 

The online window for uniform purchases will open again in early summer. We will send out communication in advance. The school office carries a few pieces and is open during the summer for families who wish to try on items or purchase those available for sale. However, we recommend ordering some uniform pieces early as it's busy season for uniform suppliers. We also stock an inventory of Lands' End ladies' polos for those who prefer a cotton, feminine-fit shirt. You may stop by during business hours to try on and purchase these items.

New Parent Night is Monday, August 11, at 6:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Performance Center. This evening is an excellent opportunity to meet and hear from our team of administrators and other parents as you prepare for the high school transition, too.

Attendance at our three-day orientation, FIRE Academy, is mandatory for all incoming ninth-grade students. FIRE Academy is August 12-14, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. These times will not interfere with sports practices. Transportation is not available on these dates.

More information will come closer to FIRE Academy, which will give specific information about what students need each day.

Parents are invited to join us on campus for a Fire28 Student and Parent Picnic at noon on the final day of FIRE Academy, Thursday, August 14.

Redshaw Educational is offering a study skills course to Holy Family students from August 5 to 9. This class will include notetaking for lecture and textbook reading, test-taking strategies, chunking information to store long-term (finals), and organizational strategies.

Two sessions are available: 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. and will be held at Holy Family. The cost is $100 per student, paid directly to Redshaw Educational. Redshaw Educational is run by one of Holy Family's former learning specialists, Meg Redshaw.
