About Holy Family Catholic High School
Holy Family Catholic High School is a co-educational college-prep high school in the Lasallian Catholic tradition committed to helping young men and women realize their academic and spiritual potential. We educate students in grades nine through twelve, offering a robust extracurricular program. The school holds an accreditation from AdvancedED, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site reviews of a variety of educational institutions and systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential.
Holy Family Catholic High School has welcomed international students for more than 20 years, but launched its full-year international program in the Spring of 2020. We have welcomed students from Argentina, Australia, Costa Rica, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Sweden, and Spain.

Victoria is located approximately 20 minutes west of Minneapolis in Carver County, Minnesota. In July 2019, Money Magazine recognized Carver County as Minnesota’s most highly educated county. Surrounded by lakes and bordering the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and Three Rivers Park District’s Carver Park Reserve, Victoria has a rich history and is a thriving community. Residents enjoy the town’s quaint downtown, abundant parks, and family-friendly neighborhoods. It is conveniently located near large retail stores, world-class healthcare facilities, and a variety of entertainment venues.

Our students join us from nearby communities and even across the globe on F-1 study visas. They are highly engaged with more than 95% of our students participating in extra-curricular activities, making life-long friends along the way. We commit to making you part of our extended family. School and community involvement is central to our culture.

OUR FOUR-YEAR PLAN
As a college preparatory school, we take great pride in our highly successful, personalized approach to guiding students and families through the college process. Our counselor to student ratio of 1:144 (compared to the Minnesota average of 1:793) allows counselors the time to work 1:1 with students, ensuring the journey to college is a comfortable and successful one. Our graduates attend some of the finest colleges and universities across the United States.

Director of International Students
Jorge Oconitrillo walked in the footsteps of those students whom we welcome from abroad, when he attended Bemidji State University, Bemidji, MN, and Concordia College in Moorhead, MN on an international student visa. He is a frequent international traveler, individually and with high school and college students. For the past 12 years, he has welcomed student groups from Seville, Spain, for an immersion experience at Holy Family Catholic High School.
