Fire For Life is a club at Holy Family Catholic High School that promotes the Catholic Social Teaching theme of the dignity of the human person in regards to all life issues from conception to natural death. The club meets regularly to plan and host events, along with seeking educational presentations in support of the club’s mission.
Fire For Life participates in the Minnesota and National March for Life rallies in Washington D.C. Included in the trips are Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and tours of the Holocaust Museum.
Karen Kidrowski has been part of the family since 2007. She has a degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Univiertvierty of MN-Morris. in 2013 Mrs. Kidrowski earned her Masters of Curriculum & Instruction from St. Thomas. When she is is not at HF, she is with her husband and two adopted children. Mrs. Kidrowksi became the advisor to Fire for Life when students asked for this club at Holy Family. Over the years, she had brought students five times to Washington D.C. for the March for Life to help students understand pro-life issues and stand up against laws and policies that don’t promote the dignity of human life at all stages.
