11th-12th Grade Testing and Student Assistance Day

11th and 12th grade students registered to take the ACT will test in the morning. Students testing should be in their assigned testing rooms dressed in school uniform by 8 a.m. All students should bring two number 2 pencils and a calculator. Please visit ACT to view the approved calculators. Students may leave for the day at the conclusion of their testing period if they do not have a SAD appointment. All other 11th and 12th grade students have the morning off.

Student Assistance Day for 11th and 12th grade will begin around noon. Students may make appointments with specific teachers to make up work, receive group or individualized help, and/or work on long-term assignments. Teachers will assign appointments with students who are struggling. Students are expected to keep all appointments as failure to attend is considered an unexcused absence. Students who are not given appointments are invited to take advantage of this opportunity and make appointments with their teachers. Counselors and the learning specialist are also available to students on each Student Assistance Day.

A limited lunch will be served. Buses will run at the typical time. Students waiting for practices or rides will be supervised in the cafeteria.

9th and 10th grade students will have the day off. October 8 (previously scheduled Student Assistance Day) will be a normal school day.

9th and 10th grade students will be taking the PreACT in the morning. 12th Grade Optional Retreat or No School Seniors wishing to participate will be off campus for their senior retreat. All other 12th grade students have the day off.
