Calculators All mathematics courses require students to have a TI-83+ or TI-84+ graphing calculator*. The TI-84+ has several advantages over the TI-83+. If buying a new calculator you are strongly encouraged to buy a TI-84+ but if you already own a TI-83+ that will be sufficient. *Calculus students may have a TI-89 but are not encouraged to purchase one if they already have a functioning TI-83+ or TI-84+.
Other Comments Standard materials include notebook, folder, pens and/or pencils (at the discretion of the teacher).
Homework to be submitted must be on lined paper that does not have rough edges. Students may use either loose-leaf paper or notebooks with perforated pages.
Additional supply requirements Courses (especially Geometry and Honors Geometry) may have extra supply requirements. Please wait until the first week of school before buying these supplies, as students will be given recommendations and requirements for all required supplies during the first week of classes.
* HFCHS can receive free equipment using the proof-of-purchase labels off Texas Instrument calculators. Please save your UPCs for Holy Family!
